Betterez, Inc., a Seattle and Toronto based provider of Reservations & Ticketing Management (RTM) technology platform, has announced a seed round of funding led by Amadeus Ventures, the travel venture fund of Amadeus IT Group.
Antoine de Kerviler, Global Head Rail & Ground Travel at Amadeus IT Group, along with Donald J. Carty, former chairman and CEO of American Airlines, who also participated in financing, have joined Betterez board of directors.
The investment will allow Betterez to further build out the sales, distribution, operations and back office features and capabilities needed to help bus & coach operators compete and thrive in today’s multi-modal transportation marketplace.
Betterez was founded in 2011 by CEO Tal Shalit, former VP of Information Technology for Porter Airlines Inc.. Betterez provides next generation RTM technology focused on helping Motorcoach and Tour Operators grow their businesses, and run operations and finance more efficiently.
