BMO Asset Management Inc. has raised $39.9 million from 57 investors for BMO Georgian Alignment II Access Fund LP in 2023. All the money was raised in the first half of 2023 and none reported for the second half of 2023.
BMO launched BMO Georgian Alignment II Access Fund in January 2023, offering “a vehicle designed exclusively for Canadian accredited investors to access the Georgian Alignment Fund II, LP.”
Georgian Alignment Fund II was launched in November 2021 with fundraising target of US $1 billion. Georgian has yet to make any announcement on any closing of the fund.
Including the Access Fund commitments, Georgian Alignment Fund has raised approximately US $550 million according to regulatory filings.
