Canadian IPO almost dead so far in November

Canadian initial public offering (IPO) has been almost dormant so far in November 2023.

One Capital Pool Company (CPC), Jo-Jo Capital Canada Ltd., completed its IPO, raising gross proceeds of $206,675. Hampton Securities Limited acted as the agent of the offering. Peterson McVicar LLP and Jay Vieira, Barrister and Solicitor, acted as legal counsel for the company and the agent respectively.

Pineapple Financial Inc. (NYSE American: PAPL), a Toronto based tech-focused mortgage brokerage, closed its IPO, raising US $3.5 million through the issuance 875,000 common shares at a public offering price of US $4.00 per share. Notable about the IPO, all the investors in the IPO were American.
