Financings are announced or closed every day. At CPE Media Analytics, we track every deal, private or public, being announced and closed daily.
Our work and task vary with a daily average of closed financings, ranging from 19 to 27 for the last three years. This number does not include announced financings. The last business day before Christmas has been approved to be the busiest financing closing day for the past three years, with 53, 86 and 75 closed financings respectively in 2016, 2017 and 2018.
For December 21, 2018, $1 billion was raised through 75 financings which were further broken down to 3 IPOS ($3 million), 31 private financings ($80 million), and 41 public financings ($920 million).
