Linda Bernardi joins Element AI as Chief Product and Strategy Officer

Linda Bernardi, former IBM Chief Innovation Officer of IoT and Cloud, consultant, author and journalist, has joined Element AI, Montreal based artificial intelligence company, as Chief Product and Strategy Officer.

Bernardi will lead product strategy, development and research, ensuring the creation and deployment of cost effective products and services that will ultimately increase the adoption of AI globally.

Bernardi served as IBM Chief Innovation Officer, Cloud & Internet of Things from 2014 to 2016, Contributing Columnist – Technology & Innovation for The Washington Post from January 2014 to November 2014 and founder of CEO of technology strategy firm StraTerra Partners, LLC from December 2009 to 2014. Bernardi is also an accomplished business writer, having published two books, The Inversion Factor and ProVoke.

Bernardi is a graduate of UCLA holding a MS in Applied Statistics.

Element AI has recently secured a US $102 million Series A round from BDC Capital, Data Collective, Fidelity Investments Canada, Hanwha Investment, Intel Capital, Microsoft Ventures, National Bank of Canada, NVIDIA GPU Ventures, Trusted Insight, Real Ventures, Tencent, sovereign fund from Singapore, and Daniel Gauthier.
