McRock Capital Corporation, a venture firm focused exclusively on the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), has added Caterpillar Ventures as a new limited partner (LP) to McRock iNFund LP.
Launched in December 2014, McRock iNFund held a final close in August 2015 with $65 million. McRock re-opened the fund to accommodate Caterpillar Ventures, joining other LPs including Cisco Systems, Électricité de France (EDF), BDC Capital, EDC, Teralys, WSGR, AEC, Kensington and Harbourvest.
Caterpillar is also an LP in Emerald Industrial Innovation Fund LP, managed by Zurich/Toronto based Emerald Technology Ventures AG.
