CPE News Brief (5.30.2023) – Picketa Systems Inc. has raised $1.4 million in seed funding led by New Brunswick Innovation Foundation (NBIF) with participation of Tall Grass Ventures, Desjardins Capital, Koan Capital Corp., Conexus Venture Capital, East Valley Ventures, Startup TNT.
Founded by Zachary Andersen, Dominic Levesque, Maxime Dumont and Xavier Hébert-Couturier, Fredericton, New Brunswick based Picketa Systems offers real-time plant tissue sampling for growers and agri-businesses to conduct nutrient analyses rapidly and independently. An online platform monitors weather, fertilizer applications, and crop rotation history to deliver a comprehensive overview of crop status at the glimpse of a dashboard. The platform records, manages, and presents users’ data via web and mobile applications. With timely information, farmers can optimize their fertilizer program and operation.
