Premier Tech acquires Kockums Bulk Systems

Premier Tech Ltée through its Industrial Equipment Group (IEG) has acquired Heidelberg West, Australia based Kockums Bulk Systems (KBS). Financial terms were not disclosed.

Kockums is an Australian owned engineering services company with specialist knowledge and experience in the design and supply of bulk materials handling facilities. Kockums also acts as a system integrator for packaging plant and lifting solutions.

Premier Tech is backed by Fonds de solidarité FTQ which provided a $25 million acquisition loan to Premier Tech in Many 2014. Premier Tech Now Has Operations Across All Continents

Premier Tech’s worldwide presence now extends to a new continent: Oceania. The Industrial Equipment Group (IEG) has acquired Australia-based Kockums Bulk Systems and can now provide even more local support to its clients across all continents.

Kockums Bulk Systems is a 68-year-old company that specializes in packaging equipment and bulk powder handling. With its experienced team and significant technology expertise, Kockums works closely with its customers to make their projects a success. Premier Tech will now build on the experience and know-how of Kockums’s 40-person team to expand IEG’s service offering and worldwide presence.
