CPE News Brief (9.18.2023) – Simmunome has raised $2 million pre-seed round of financing with Theodorus Investment Funds, BKR Capital, Sandpiper Ventures, Fonds d’investissement Eurêka, and ACET Capital.
The financing closed in two tranches in May and August 2023.
As part of financing, Theodorus’ Theo Risopoulos, BKR’s Lise Birikundavyi and Sandpiper’s Rhiannon Davis have joined Simmunome board of directors.
Founded by Armstrong Murira and Nardin Nakhla, Montreal based Simmunome is leveraging AI towards unraveling biological complexity. The company transforms physiological systems into biologically representative computational models for use in therapeutic and preventative drug discovery.
Simmunome previously closed a financing with Front Row Ventures.
